How do I take it?

CLARAMAX can be taken regardless of mealtime.

Adults and adolescents 12 years and over: One CLARAMAX 5mg film-coated tablet or 10 mL (5 mg) CLARAMAX Syrup once daily.

Children 6 to 11 years of age: 5 mL (2.5 mg) CLARAMAX Syrup once daily.

Children 2 to 5 years of age: 2.5 mL (1.25 mg) CLARAMAX Syrup once daily.

Children 6 to 11 months of age: 2 mL (1 mg) of CLARAMAX Syrup once daily.

Are there any side effects?

As with every medicine there may be side effects, these are usual mild to moderate and nature and go away. If you experience any side effects which persist or become more intense in nature be sure to contact your doctor or pharmacist. Side effects may include:

Do not take this product if you have an allergy to loratadine or any of the tablets ingredients.

Contact your Doctor of Pharmacy If:
You experience any side effects. In clinical trials in a range of indications including seasonal allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria, at the recommended dose of 5 mg daily, undesirable effects with Aerius Tablets were reported in 3% of patients in excess of those treated with placebo. The most frequent adverse events reported in excess of placebo were fatigue (1.2%), dry mouth (0.8%), and headache (0.6%).
