  • Want an effective solution to your cough and cold? Well, here's a medicine for you. Introducing Dimetapp DM Cough & Cold Elixir Sugar Free, a reliable cough and cold treatment with a pleasant tasting sugar free formula.

Uses: This medication relieves sneezing, nasal congestion, itchy, watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing, coughing.

Composition:
Each 5ml has phenylephrine hydrochloride 5mg, brompheniramine maleate 2mg, dextromethorphan hydrobromide 10mg. It also contains sodium benzoate, saccharin sodium sugar free (contains sorbitol)

Instructions for Usage:
Take medication every 4 hours. If required Children 2-6 years 2.5ml Children 6-12 years 5ml Adults and children over 12 years 10ml. Do not exceed 6 doses in 24 hours. For children below 2 years old, seek medical advice first. May be taken diluted with fruit juice or just water.

Caution:
Never not drive a vehicle or operate machinery because this medication can cause drowsiness. Avoid alcohol while on medication. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. If symptoms persist for more than 2 days, consult a doctor or a pharmacist. Seek medical advice before taking this medication especially if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients or are taking a prescription antihypertensive or have recently taken antidepressant medication. If you are taking sedatives or tranquillizers, do not take this product without a doctor consult. Seek the advice of a doctor or pharmacist before using this product If you have an underlying disease condition such as heart disease, diabets, glaucoma, emphysema, difficulty breathing, hypertension, asthma, thyroid disease,  or difficulty in urinating due to enlargement of the prostate. Women who are pregnant or nursing a baby should seek the advice of a doctor or pharmacist, as with any medicine, before using this product.
