What is Hirudoid Cream?

Hirudoid Cream is an antinflammatory and anti thrombotic cream which can be used as a treatment for problem veins, surgical injuries, scarring, skin discolouration, haematomas and bruising.

Hirudoid works to reduce inflamation as it is quickly abosrbed into the skin and helps reduce pain and irritation caused by those above complaints. It is suited to the skin so should not cause irritation.

It helps preventing agaist phlebitis, can be used as a treatment after sclerosing of varicose veins and also works to reduce scar tissues which occur from burns, operation or injury. It can help speed up the duration of disorders like heamatomas, bruises and soft tissue injuries.It also increase blood flow to problem areas to help promote faster absorbtion of fluid in strains and sprains.


How Do I Use Hirudoid Cream?

Simply apply this cream by massaging it into the skin twice daily.
You will need to use around 4cm of cream and you should put it directly on the effected area.

Scar Treatment - Thouroughly massage into the skin to soften hard scars it will reduce redness and give a better cosmetic appearance of old and new scars. It works by increasing the elasticity of the scar tissue.

Inflammed/painful areas or thrombosis - gently massage on the effected area and the skin surrounding it and apply a bandage over the top to help intensify the effect of the cream. This will help to reduce inflammation that can cause pain and discomfort.

Bruises - This product can help reduce the healing time of bruised areas by 50%

Its ingredients help to stimulate regeneration of injured tissue by helping skin retain visco-elasticity and retaining moisture.

Are There Any Precautions For This  Product?
  • This product is for external use only.
  • Do not use this product with warfarin.
  • Do not apply to infected or bleeding areas.
  • Avoid contact with the eyes and wash hands after applying.
