Lomide is an antihistamine eye drop which helps with teary, itchy, red or dry eyes due to hayfever and allergies. It contains an antihistamine which works by blocking the chemical in the body that is released when an allergic reaction occurs. This chemical called histamine causes the symptoms of allergic reaction in the body so taking antihistamine you can reduce the symptoms of allergies on the body.

Main Ingredients?

How do I take this product?

Obe drop into the effect eye/s four times a day. It may take a few days to feel the effects of these drops and build up a response. Be sure to space your applications out evenly through out the day and do not double dose.

Do not stop using the product as soon as symptoms disappear as allergens that caused symptoms may still remain - Instead discuss with your doctor or pharmacist when the best time to stop use it.

Are there any side effects?

As with every medicine there may be side effects, these are usual mild to moderate and nature and go away. If you experience any side effects which persist or become more intense in nature be sure to contact your doctor or pharmacist. Side effects may include:
  • Burning, stinging red, itchy , dry or irritation in the eye(s
  • Blurred vision and/or watering eye(s);
  • Crusting around the eyelid(s)

    Rare side effects:

  • A feeling that something is in your eye(s);
  • Pain, Swelling of the eye(s) and/or eyelid(s);
  • Discharge or a sticky feeling in the eye(s);
  • Tired eyes or Warm eyes
  • Erosion or abrasion of the surface of the eye (cornea);
  • Dim or dull vision.
Cautions or Warnings?

Do not use if:
  • You are allergic to this product or any of its ingredients.
  • You are under 4 years old.
  • The seal around the cap is broken
  • The expiry date has passed.
  • You are wearing contact lenses

Consult a Doctor or Pharmacist Before of during Using If:
  • You experience any unwanted side effects including flushed/warm feeling, headache, nausea, dizziness, tiredness, dry nose, sneezing, skin rash.
  • You are pregnant, intending to be pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You are taking any other medication or supplements.
  • You are using other eye medications.

Write the open date on the bottle and dispose within 4 weeks of opening.
