Voltaren Rapid is an antiinflammatory tablet that was previously known as cataflam. This medicine is used to relief pain and inflamation in the body. It is non steroidal and although in most countries you need a prescription to buy this product, in New Zealand it can be purchased from a pharmacist.

Voltaren Rapid is effective against medical complaints including:

If you are suffering from sprains, strains, muscle aches, bruises, back pain, beck pain, period pain, migraines, headaches or post operative pain for minor sugery.

How do I take Voltaren Rapid?

Adult
2 Tablets followed by 1-2 tablets every 8 hours as needed.
Adult with Migraine
2 tablets followed by 1-2 tablets 2 hours later when needed
Children over 14
1 tablet followed by 1 tablet every 8 hours as needed
Children Under 14
This product is not suitable for children under the age of 14


Take a doseage directly after a meal, never take on an empty stomach as it may cause you discomfort. It should take around 15-30 minutes for you to feel relief. Each voltaren rapid tablet contains 25mg of diclofenac potassium.

Diclofenac Diethylamine 1%w/w.
Diclofenac Potassium 25mg.

Do not take this product if you:
  • Suffer from stomach ulcer, Suffered an allergic reaction or asthma attack after taking diclofenac.
  • Use aspirin, Use any other anti-inflammatory medicine
Warnings and Precautions:
Always consult a medical professional before taking other medicines with Voltaren rapid. The effect of some medicines may be altered by voltaren rapid.

Treatment for acute, inflammatory, painful conditions should only be necessary for a few days. For chronic conditions require continuous treatment.

Stop using Voltaren rapid if you develop any of the following:
  • Swelling in the face, feet or legs.
  • Persistent Sore Throat, high Temperature
  • Skin Rash
  • Asthma Attacks
  • Black coloured Stools
  • Yellowing of the skin
  • Yellowing of the eyes
  • Become dizzy or light headed and experience problems with your sight (do not operate heavy machinery)
  • Experience gastric symptoms such as neasuea, vomiting, or abdominal pain.
